Easter Peeps House Craft

Easter Peeps House Craft (Easy & Fun for Kids)
If you’re looking for a simple and fun Easter activity to do with your kids, this Easter Peeps House Craft is such a sweet one to try. It’s easy to set up, uses just a few ingredients, and doubles as both a craft and a treat.
Think of it like a mini gingerbread house—but with a fun Easter twist.
Whether you go all out with decorating or keep it super simple, this is one of those activities that’s more about the fun of making it together than how it turns out.

Supplies You’ll Need
- Graham crackers
- Vanilla icing (store-bought or homemade)
- Easter Peeps (bunny shapes work great)
- Easter-themed M&Ms
- Plastic sandwich bag (for piping icing)
- Plate or tray (for building your house)
How to Make an Easter Peeps House

Step 1: Prep Your Graham Crackers
Break your graham crackers into squares so they’re ready to use as the walls and roof of your house.
Step 2: Build the Base
Start by piping a little icing onto your plate—this helps hold everything in place.
Use three graham cracker squares to form:
- The back wall
- Two side walls
Stand them up and use icing along the edges to “glue” them together.

Step 3: Add the Roof
Take two more graham cracker pieces and lean them together at the top to form a triangle roof.
Use icing along the edges to hold everything in place. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect—this is part of the fun!

Step 4: Decorate the Outside
Place your icing into a plastic bag and snip a small corner to create a simple piping bag.
Pipe icing along the edges and around the house, then decorate with Easter M&Ms. Kids can get creative here—dots, lines, or just sticking candies wherever they want.

Step 5: Add Your Peep
Once your house is decorated, place a bunny Peep inside (or right in front of the house).
Use a little icing to hold it in place if needed.
You can also create a little “pathway” using M&Ms leading up to the house.

Keep It Simple (Kid-Friendly Version)
If you have younger kids—or just want to keep things really easy—you can simplify this craft.
My son actually made his using just three graham cracker pieces without a roof, and it turned out just as cute. It’s a great reminder that this activity doesn’t have to be perfect to be fun.
Let your kids build it their own way—whether that’s a full house, a simple setup, or something totally creative.

A Fun (and Tasty) Easter Activity
One of the best parts about this craft is that everything is edible. Once you’re done building and decorating, your kids can enjoy their creations as a sweet Easter treat.
This is such a fun activity to do:
- On Easter day
- During spring break
- Or anytime leading up to Easter
It’s simple, festive, and a great way to spend time together.
