Popcorn Hands Craft for Halloween

How to Make Popcorn Hands for Halloween – A Fun & Easy Snack Craft! 🎃🍿🖐️
Looking for a spooky (and tasty!) Halloween craft that kids will love? These Popcorn Hands are the perfect mix of fun, simple, and a little bit creepy. Whether you’re planning a classroom party, a movie night, or just want to make something festive together, this easy snack craft is a Halloween favorite.
Best of all? It doubles as a treat and a decoration!
These are fun to give out at a Halloween party, too.
🎃 What You’ll Need:
2 bags of popcorn, popped
40 pieces of candy corn
8 clear food-safe gloves (like plastic or vinyl gloves)
Orange and black ribbon (or any festive ribbon)
Optional: Plastic spider rings for extra creepiness!

🕒 Prep Time: 35 Minutes
👻 Makes: 8 Popcorn Hands
🍬 Let’s Make Them!
Start with the fingers:
Drop one candy corn into each finger of the glove—this becomes the “fingernail” and gives your popcorn hands a spooky touch.

Add crushed popcorn:
Lightly crush some of the popcorn (not too fine, just enough to fit into the glove fingers) and use it to fill each finger of the glove. This part takes a little patience, but it’s worth it!

Adjust and fill:
Once the fingers are full, gently adjust the candy corns so they’re facing the right way. Then, fill the rest of the glove with whole popcorn until it’s nice and full.

Tie it off:
Twist the open end of the glove and tie it with orange or black ribbon to seal the popcorn in. Curl the ends of the ribbon for a festive flair!

Add a spooky touch:
Slip on a spider ring or two for a creepy surprise!

👩🍳 Tips for Success:
If you’re making these for a party, use unsalted popcorn so they last longer.
Want to avoid candy corn? Try mini marshmallows or chocolate chips instead.
Let kids personalize their gloves with stickers or draw faces on them!
These Popcorn Hands are the perfect combo of craft + snack, and kids will have just as much fun making them as they will eating them. Add them to your Halloween lineup this year for a simple, spooky, and satisfying treat!
