Pool Noodle Boat Craft
Looking for something fun and easy to do this summer? Try out this pool noodle boat craft!
Supplies Needed:
One craft foam sheet (You can find this at most craft stores or search online “craft foam sheet.”)
Straws (We usually have some hanging around from fast food places.)
One pool noodle. (You can find cheap pool noodles at the dollar store.)
Hole punch or scissors to create two small holes.
Step one: cut the craft foam sheet into a triangle
Step two: make two holes in the foam triangle
3: Cut 2 inches off the pool noodle. This will be your boat!
Step 4: push the straw into the pool noodle
Step 5: Add the triangle foam piece onto the straw.
Now, your boat is ready to float!
We filled a plastic bin with water and took it outside to float our boats. They worked great!
A fun game is to have a boat race by blowing your boat across the water. These are also super fun for bath time!
This craft is great for all ages, but my 3-year-old seems to love it the most. It’s also a fun way to get kids outside in warmer weather.
This craft is great for so many occasions:
- Birthday Parties
- 4th of July
- Summer
- Warm weather
- Playing in the bath
- Making with little kids
