Firecracker Kid Craft Decoration
Today I am sharing our fun firecracker kid craft decoration. This is a fun decoration that is easy to make and looks great on a 4th of July snack table.
This super easy firework craft can be made in a very short time and doesn’t take many supplies. These look great as a table decoration on the 4th of July dinner table or in a basket on the front porch. More than anything this sparkler firework craft is a fun project and will add some color to your table.
Firecracker Kid Craft Decoration Supplies:
- Construction Paper: Red, Blue and White
- Scissors
- Clear Tape
Start by folding the red paper in half the long way. Cut along the fold.
Use a full sheet of white and blue paper cutting it into fringe. Cut long fringe about 1/4th inch thick. Make sure you leave about 1 to 2 inches at the bottom of the fringe.
Roll the half sheet of red paper into a cylinder about the size of a toilet paper roll. Tape the edges, or you could use glue.
Now layer the blue and white fringe paper together and roll them putting the end into the red rolled paper. Tape around the top of the red cylinder to the fringe bottom edge. Carefully pull the fringe down so it looks like a firework.
The last step is to cut some white strips and tape them around the red cylinder to create a red and white stripe pattern.
This craft was very easy for my 6 year old and since it only involved tape and scissors it is also mess free.
